Better Tours of Asheville is now under new management. Don’t worry though, nothing will change in regards to the quality tours you have come to expect from us over the years. Come find out why the Pub Crawl is our most popular tour! Join us as we delve deeply into Asheville’s scandals and secrets over the course of a night out on the town at our favorite haunts. More than just a guided tour, the pub crawl is a uniquely fun way to get to know the town.

Tourists: See the town like a local, lead by a personal guide. In addition to telling stories your guide can answer questions and provide information about everything from dining, hiking, local music and attractions and much, much more. There’s no better, more entertaining, more authentic way to experience Asheville.

Asheville residents: Learn about a side to this town that few people realize ever existed, find a new local hangout, and use your guide to find underground and in depth information about the city.

Some stories featured on this tour:

• The local headquarters of the largest Nazi organization to ever exist in the states
• “Buncombe Bob” – Asheville’s most controversial senator and prior owner of the Hope Diamond
• Al Capone, Mobsters, Bootlegging, and Speakeasies in the Mountains
• The curse of the Battery Park Hotel

We’ll visit 4 bars which have been hand picked by our guides.  We will NOT take you to a bar that features a cover charge or dress code.  Tour goes rain or shine, lasts about 3 hours, and advance reservations are required.

We are flexible and knowledgeable about the local nightlife and each tour is tailored to the group we have that night.

The pub crawl is $20 per person, ages 21+ only and is currently running on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm by reservation only. Private group pub crawls may be available at other days and times. In order to make a reservation, please call 828-337-5480.
