Better Tours of Asheville was founded by long-time tour guides from Asheville with over 10 years of combined experience. We believe that tours go stale after a while and without innovation, lose their luster. Rather than continuing to rehash the same old stories that have been told here for years on end, we have decided to revolutionize our approach to the industry, bringing together entirely new research, fresh content, and innovative concepts to set a new standard for Asheville tours.

Our tours are conducted by the actual designers and researchers, not actors who have memorized a script. Our experts call Asheville their home, but they have also worked in Savannah, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Old San Juan, Puerto Rico; Paris, France; Rome, Italy; and many locations in Eastern Tennessee. These experiences working in other cities and countries have helped to develop a Better Tour, combining the best of historical and modern intrigue.

Because the tours we offer are all designed from the ground up by the guides themselves, you can expect to hear new and changing content frequently on tours.
